our curated dating events aim to faciliate introductions with potential. this specific event is for our community of folks in their late 20s and 30s that are interested in opposite-gender dating. keep an eye out for our other events if this one isn’t for you!

our curated speed dating events are invite only, but if the above describes you, feel free to add yourself to the waitlist (select get tickets > waitlist) to register interest in attending. please note, these events are only open to folks that are pre-registered with irl and have agreed to our community guidelines. find out more about joining our community here to receive future invites to curated events.

what to expect

– please arrive between 6.30-6.45pm to get settled (we’ll have a fun ice breaker going during this time!). the event will start promptly at 7pm, with a short break built in to give time to take a breather & grab drinks. please help us run a smooth event by arriving no later than 6.45pm!

– once we get going, you’ll chat with potential matches one-on-one, with conversation cards as optional prompts to keep the conversation fun and flowing. hosts will be on hand to let you know when its time to move on!

– drinks from consignment lounge’s awesome menu will be available to purchase throughout the evening. food isn’t available at the venue, so we recommend eating beforehand.

– after the event we encourage you to stick around, continue any fun conversations, and hang out with us at the bar! we end the structured part of the event around 8.15pm, so there’s chance to follow up the evening with a one-on-one drink or dinner date with anyone you’d like to get to know better, which we love and encourage!

– at the event of the event we invite your feedback and match requests, and share contact details for any mutual matches within 48 hrs. then it’s over to you!
