Meeting people and making authentic connections can feel like an uphill challenge nowadays which is why we are hosting a new event to give single professionals, aged 25+, the opportunity to meet in an intentional and exciting way. To that end, we present to you our new singles mixer, with a twist…

The Plus One

Single men and women are invited to meet and mingle with the purpose of making new connections and potentially meet someone special. The twist is that the ticket is two-part. Each person should come with someone of the opposite gender, partly to give you a chance to speak directly with the person who brought your potential interest – an opportunity we rarely get with everything being online these days – but mainly to balance the numbers (we are breaking the cycle of female heavy mixer events!) The beauty of coming with a plus one is that you’re providing an opportunity for them to also make a new connection. That said, bring someone you’ve vetted and would be happy to recommend! It could be a friend, colleague, sibling etc… Character is everything.

Purchasing an RSVP +1 ticket essentially means you can split the cost of the ticket. However, if you really do not have a plus one to bring, don’t worry, as you can still attend the event at the full price. Please note though, “single entry” tickets are limited as we want to ensure a good balance of the genders.

Now don’t get us wrong, you are more than welcome to invite your same gender friends too – we get it, who would want to roll up to a spot without their guys/gals/crew. However, the principle still stands. Your friend of the same gender will need to purchase a new ticket and invite a plus one of the opposite gender, if they wish to benefit from the deal. Two members of the same gender cannot be on the same ticket.

The evening will be chilled vibes, so there’s no need to stress. We know events like these can sometimes be nerve wracking, but come with an open mind, ready to talk to someone you may not have necessarily given a chance to had you seen them in another context. Who knows where things could lead… 😊

Your ticket will permit you entry to the event and a drink on arrival. If coming with a plus one, they will also get a drink on arrival included in the ticket, as long as you RSVP’d +1 when you booked.

Aperitifs will be served during the evening, however, drinks and food are also available to purchase at the venue.

There will be conversation starters and half-time entertainment included in the night to help with the flow of the evening – should you need it. So again, relax and come expectant. We. Got. You!

As they say, there is no better recommendation than through a friend. So, bring a plus one, to gain a plus one!
